The roster for Marc Webb’s sequel "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" has filled up nicely over the last few weeks as we learned that that Dane DeHaan will play Harry Osborn, Shailene Woodley will take on Mary Jane Watson and "Django" himself, Jamie Foxx, will be playing Electro. Foxx informed fans that we won’t catch him portraying the infamous villain Electro is his signature green and yellow spandex, but rather in a more futuristic manner.

Foxx said, "It won’t be green and yellow. It will be a different color. They (the producers) want something for the future. They want to have it more grounded and not as comic bookie, so it won’t be green and yellow. They want to try new things, like a liquid rubber and things like that, and there are all these bolts and stuff in my arms when they are hanging me upside down and trying to figure out what happen. How did he become this way? So, it will be some new stuff."

He continued, "In the script, this villain is the first time it's been written well. Andrew Garfield and Marc Webb both commented on how great the script is, so it should be an exciting time."

It will be interesting to see if the Electro costume will be more influenced by the Ultimate version, which is of more purple tones, or if Webb and team will create an entirely different vibe and style for this new generation. The real question is, how will diehard fans of the Spider-Man comic books feel about the change? Only time will tell and we'll continue to keep you posted as the story develops.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
