Josh Hutcherson to Star in PARADISE LOST

By AMC December 18, 2012

Josh Hutcherson ("The Hunger Games") is set to star in the upcoming "Paradise Lost" opposite Benicio Del Toro. The story will find Hutcherson playing a surfer named Nick who visits his brother in Colombia and falls in love with a gorgeous local girl named Maria. The couple's newfound romance is disrupted when Nick discovers that Pablo Escobar is her uncle. The always incredible Del Toro will portray the infamous drug lord Escobar, and it will be interesting to see if Hutcherson can hold his own against the Academy-Award winner.

Andrea di Stefano is helming the project which will mark his directorial debut. He was last seen flexing his acting chops as a priest in Fox’s "Life of Pi". Principle photography will be shot in Panama for the film and they are aiming for a March 2013 kick-off.

We'll keep you posted as the story develops.
