A new trailer for Bryan Singer's "Jack the Giant Slayer" is premiering with Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" this weekend. Promotional materials for the film are ramping up as a bunch of stills and now a new poster are being revealed.

Bryan Singer, director of the first two "X-Men" films and the upcoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past", helmed "Jack the Giant Slayer" while Darren Lemke, Christopher McQuarrie and Dan Studney penned the script. This is the first film Singer has sat in the director’s chair since his WWII epic "Valkyrie", starring Tom Cruise and Bill Nighy. It will be interesting to see how he chooses to bring this classic fairytale to life on the big-screen.

Synopsis: A modern day fairy tale in which the long-standing peace between men and giants is threatened, as a young farmer leads an expedition into the giants' kingdom in hopes of rescuing a kidnapped princess.

I've got a Baby Ruth in my coat pocket somewhere... just waiting to eat it. Maybe I'll put in a blender on puree.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
