The release date for the 1970's remake of the classic horror film "Carrie" has been shifted from March to October. Which seems to make sense since being near Halloween for a scary movie is like chocolate fudge on vanilla ice cream. A new poster has been released which features the new Carrie, played by Chloë Grace Moretz, covered in blood.
The change was made possible due to some speculated double shift action. The new thriller starring Idris Elba and Taraji P. Henson titled "No Good Deed", has been pushed back to January 17, 2014 from its original release to make room for "Carrie".
While the wrong release date still appears on the poster, it gives us a good idea about the approach they are going to take for the remake; blood, lots of blood. Are you excited for the film? Let us know in the comments section below!
"Carrie" hits AMC Theatres on October 18th and also stars Julianne Moore and Judy Greer.
