Seth MacFarlane is moving on up in the world. After the success of his hit series "Family Guy", he proved he could flex his big-screen directorial chops with last year's hilarious comedy "Ted". He has been given the huge honor of hosting the 2013 Academy Awards. Now, it looks like he might have Academy Award winning beauty Charlize Theron, star in his next big-screen venture. Not bad MacFarlane, not bad.

The film is called "A Million Ways to Die in the West", and it is said to be a comedy in the vein of "Blazing Saddles". The story follows a farmer who chickens out of a gunfight and watches his girlfriend leave him in result. He then meets the wife of a notorious outlaw who offers to teach him how to shoot. The farmer sees this as a chance to win back his love, but slowly falls for the woman instead. As one can imagine, complications ensue.

Theron is apparently in final negotiations to join the project, that MacFarlane is set to direct, star and produce. We'll keep you posted as the story develops.

This looks like an interesting movie where young kids are pushed to really show their true, inner feelings at a time when they usually don't want the world to know what's going on with them.I want

Thought it would have been a good movie but all the f bombs/constant cussing where unnecessary and the sexual innuendos where disgusting! The actions scenes were done rather well and the plot was good, just bad screen writers. Could have been a movie for everyone. Hope there is no sequel, if there is, it is NOT getting my money again

I would love to see a sequel. And I agree with having someone with no action movie experience but is still as kick butt as Colin Firth!
