It is time for Gotham's reckoning. The accomplishments and respected talent found in director Christopher Nolan is widely accepted. Even if the reviews on his final installment of his Batman trilogy "The Dark Knight Rises" were mixed.
We learned several months ago that Nolan is in talks to direct the sci-fi film "Interstellar". Talent apparently runs deep in certain families, as Nolan's brother Jonathan Nolan originally wrote the script. The script was penned several years ago with Spielberg set to helm. Oh, the difference a year makes.
The story of "Interstellar" deals with time travel and alternate dimensions, and is inspired by the work of physicist Kip Thorne. The script is said to "depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest borders of our scientific understanding."
Christopher Nolan is going to rewrite the script and will incorporate an original idea of his own, merged with the skeleton outline set by his brother. The Nolan brothers have a proven track record on working well together, as seen on such collaborations as "The Prestige", "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight Rises".
No further details on the project are released at this time, but we'll keep you posted as this story develops.
