Guillermo del Toro's imagination is a force to be reckoned with. He has proven time and again that he knows monsters, he knows suspense, and he knows how to draw you into a story.

Whenever del Toro dabbles with the horror genre, we know we are in for a treat. Word about his latest project "Crimson Peak" is said to be a classic but modern take on a ghost story. "It will allow me to play with the conventions of the genre I know and love, and at the same time subvert the old rules," said del Toro.

As if that didn't grab our attention enough, starlet Emma Stone is in early negotiations to star in the film.

Del Toro wrote the original script for "Crimson Peak" with longtime partner Matthew Robbins. Legendary Pictures, who is producing his upcoming "Pacific Rim", is also producing this film.

True to the del Toro way, no other information on the project is currently available. We'll keep you posted as the story develops.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
