After months of no concrete information around the upcoming "Justice League" flick, it looks like we may now have our superheroes ensemble sealed. The roster of the film will include Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and The Flash. This obviously leaves out other fan favorites such as Aquaman, Hawkman and Martian Manhunter.
Keeping the focus on just 5 characters seems like a good move by Warner Bros. After all, unlike the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they don't have a bunch of great standalone films to help tie the larger universe together. The way that "Thor", "Iron Man", and "Captain America" have done for the M.C.U.
Now that Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy has concluded, the next time we'll see a D.C. superhero on the big-screen will be will Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel". How much will that film elude to the larger universe? After all, Snyder did say he was entrusted to keep the grand scheme of things "on course".
