Megan Fox Joins the Michael Bay-Produced NINJA TURTLES

The Michael Bay-produced "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" film has had a lot of negativity surrounding it. Bay first announced that the film would focus on aliens from another world and that it would be simply titled "Ninja Turtle". It's been rather quite on this front for a while, until a big casting update was just revealed from Bay himself.

Bay turned to Twitter to state, "TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!" There you have it. The duo, having worked together on the "Transformers" films, are back together again. The film is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman ("Battle: Los Angeles") and has an aggressive May 2014 release date.

The obvious speculation would presume that Fox will portray the infamous reporter and turtle lover, April O'Neill. It has not been officially confirmed yet but it's an iconic character and the film would benefit from keeping fans interested.

No other casting news has been released yet, but given the timeline, we expect more news on this front will be revealed soon.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
