Blockbuster-enthusiast Michael Bay, is back at it again with his upcoming "Transformers 4". The film stars Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor, and takes places four years after the events of the third installment. We just learned that the rules have changed a bit for this new film, as Bay informs us of a "redesign", that may excite or worry fans depending on where they stand.
Bay stated that, "We're going to start off smaller. There's a brand new cast. To freshen the franchise we've redesigned everything from top to bottom. The history of the first three movies is still there, we start four years later and there's a reason why we're meeting a new cast."
On whether the film was a reboot Bay explains, "No, that's wrong. We keep the Transformers the way they were, it's just four years later. There's a reason the Transformers are redesigned. We're trying to broaden the franchise and gie it more places to go."
As of now, Wahlberg and Jack Reynor are the only confirmed cast members. There is bound to be a beautiful female lead, the way these films go. We'll keep you posted as the story develops.
