The wonderful Christina Applegate is in final negations to star opposite Ed Helms in the "Vacation" re-imagining. Through such roles as "Anchorman" opposite Will Ferrell and "The Sweetest Thing" opposite Cameron Diaz, Applegate has proven that she has great comedic energy and timing.

The story for "Vacation" isn't your typical sequel or re-imagining. Ed Helms will be portraying a grown-up Rusty Griswold, the son of Chevy Chase's character. He takes his family on a vacation to Walley World, just like his father did for his family in the original 1983 version. Applegate will play Rusty's wife, who appears to be falling out of love with her him.

Ed Helms will join the long list of other actors who have portrayed the character of Rusty Griswold throughout the original franchise. Such actors include Anthony Michael Hall in "Vacation", Jason Lively in "European Vacation", Johnny Galecki in "Christmas Vacation", and Ethan Embry in "Vegas Vacation".

John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein ("The Incredible Burt Wonderstone") will make their directorial debuts with "Vacation", working from their own screenplay.

Production and other casting details aren't currently known, and we'll keep you posted as this story develops.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
