The wait is over my friends. Two official trailers, one U.S. and one International, have been released online for James Mangold's "The Wolverine". Hugh Jackman is reprising his role as the arrogant clawing beast, for the sixth time.
The setting and colors seen in the trailers are very dark and each explores different scenes. A Wolverine that is much more alone and out of his element is showcased, which should reveal a very interesting narration. The clips are packed with action, new characters, including the Silver Samurai and teases a glimpse of Jean Grey.
Synopsis: Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern-day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
"The Wolverine" claws its way to AMC Theatres on July 26th.
