Hathaway, Rockwell and Moretz in Talks to Join LAGGIES

By AMC March 28, 2013

The lovely Anne Hathaway is having quite a year. First, she turned heads as Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises". Then of course, she took home the Oscar for her role as Fantine in Tom Hooper's "Les Miserables".

Hathaway is now in "deep negotiations" to star in "Laggies", alongside Chloe Grace Moretz and Sam Rockwell. Director Lynn Shelton's ("Your Sister's Sister") is helming the project. The story revolves around an irresponsible woman named Megan (Hathaway) who freaks out after her boyfriend's marriage proposal. She therefore pretends to go on a work retreat but really hides out with her new 16-year-old friend (Moretz). The always incredible Rockwell will play an older character named Craig and Mark Webber ("Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World") is in talks to join as Megan's proposing boyfriend.

Andrea Seigel penned the script and no production or release details have been released. We'll keep you posted as the story develops.
