Our favorite amateur superhero with guts the size of bowling balls, is back in "Kick-Ass 2". A new red-band trailer has just been released and it's awesome. The clip reunites us with Aaron Johnson (Dave Lizewski/Kick-Ass) and Hit-Girl (Chloe Grace-Moretz), who looks even more badass than ever. We also say hello again to The Motherfu*ker, formerly known as Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse).

We are formally introduced to Jim Carrey, who portrays Colonel Star and Stripes. Not only does he look great but the way he is disguising his voice is solid. I really look forward to seeing what he brings to the role because so far, so good.

The sequel was written and directed by Jeff Wadlow, and is based on the comic series by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. This new adventure finds Kick-Ass teaming up to fight evil with a group known as Justice Forever, fittingly lead my Colonel Stars and Stripes.

You can check out the red band below:

"Kick-Ass 2" hits AMC Theatres on June 28th 2013.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
