Matthew Vaughn's THE SECRET SERVICE Hits November 2014

By AMC March 30, 2013

Fan-favorites Matthew Vaughn and Mark Millar are back at it again with "The Secret Service". Fox is releasing the film, which comes as no surprise since Millar is Fox's comic-book creative consultant and Vaughn's "X-Men: First Class" was a solid success for them.

According to Millar, Vaughn had a hard time walking away from helming "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in order to pursue "The Secret Service". Millar said, "If we didn't do it now, it would probably never get done. Matthew had a really difficult choice, and he had a lot of great ideas for X-Men."

Vaughn and his frequent co-writer Jane Goldman, have adapted Millar and Dave Gibbons' comic series for the big-screen. The story follows a seasoned Secret Service agent who mentors a younger agent, as they investigate the murder of every resident of a small town and a mystery involving Mount Everest.

Vaughn will kick off shooting in August gearing up to a November 14th 2014 release date.
