Jon Favreau took a break from directing "Iron Man" to give Shane Black a shot at the third installment of "Iron Man 3". Favreau did still reprise his role as Happy Hogan, with just as much charm and stellar sense of comedic timing as we remember.
Favreau is indeed keeping busy with his latest project titled "Chef", in which he will direct and star. This "Chef" project could easily get mixed up with the Derek Cianfrance film, which has Bradley Cooper and Omar Sy set to star. But knowing Cianfrance's style, I think it's safe to say that Favreau's project may be a little lighter in the emotions department.
Once the deal is finalized and the project officially gets off the ground, Favreau will play an emotional chef, who runs a Los Angeles restaurant.
Favreau's last directing credit was the Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford action flick "Cowboys and Aliens", which was met with mixed reviewed. The love and respect for Favreau continues to be intact however, and he'll next be seen in Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street".
