I am definitely in the group that has been rather skeptical about the Michael Bay-produced "Ninja Turtles". My suspicions hit around the time when word first got out that he was going to explore the turtles being of alien origin. News of the most recent casting does have me a bit intrigued, however. Well played, Bay and team.

Funny man Will Arnett is the latest edition to "Ninja Turtles". Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the film also stars Megan Fox as April O'Neill, and Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard and Noel Fisher as the turtles.

Three big roles have not been cast yet, including the turtle's master Splinter, their ally Casey Jones and their biggest enemy, Shredder. It has been reported that Arnett will not be playing Jones. This leaves either Shredder, Splinter or a more minor character. I personally hope it's the former because the key to making this film work would be to not take itself too seriously, and Arnett would be an amazing comedic relief in helping to achieve this.

"Ninja Turtles" hits AMC Theatres on June 6th 2014.

I've got a Baby Ruth in my coat pocket somewhere... just waiting to eat it. Maybe I'll put in a blender on puree.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
