Amanda Seyfried is in talks to join Noah Baumbach's "While We're Young" . The film already includes Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts and Adam Driver.
Baumbach is directing from a screenplay he wrote. The story centers on a rigid documentary filmmaker (Stiller) and his wife (Watts), whose lives change when they meet a lively couple (Driver and Seyfried). The premise almost sounds like a Woody Allen movie, with great narratives and interesting characters.
Greta Gerwig was originally considered for Seyfried's role. Gerwig and Baumbach previously worked together on "Frances Ha", so naturally filmmakers and actors that had a good experience working together, want to try it again. Seyfried is definitely a solid actress and a really wonderful person, so adding her to a cast hardly seems like a bad idea.
