Ewan McGregor to Replace Bradley Cooper in JANE GOT A GUN

The plagued production of "Jane Got a Gun" is becoming a vicious game of the boy who cried wolf. When a new casting announcement has been revealed, no one believes it will stick, since so many players have exited.

Hopefully that is not the case with the latest villain replacement for the picture. Ewan McGregor has now filled the shoes of Bradley Cooper, who replaced Jude Law, Joel Edgerton, and Michael Fassbender.

I would be remiss to not also remind you that "Warrior" director Gavin O'Connor is still on board, who replaced Lynne Ramsay who exited right when the production was set to kick-off.

I will say one thing for Natalie Portman and team. Despite all these constant departures, they manage to get a quality actor interested every time. McGregor is a great actor and was solid as the bad guy in "Haywire" as well as "Angels and Demons".

Hopefully there will be no further delays with the film and that we may actually get to see "Jane Got a Gun" within in our lifetime.

Do you think Ewan McGregor is a good pick and will remain attached to the production? Let us know in the comments section below!

"Jane Got a Gun" is set to release sometime in 2014.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
