Actor/director/fanboy favorite Kevin Smith, announced awhile back that "Clerks III" would be his last feature film. Opposed to so many directors that proclaim that these days, including such names as Quentin Tarantino and Steven Soderbergh, it actually may be true in Smith's case.
Luckily before that happens, we will indeed get a final installment in the "Clerks" trilogy. Smith announced today that he finished the first draft of the script. He turned to the popular photo-sharing social site Instagram to post the script, laying on top of the clapboard from the 1994 original film.
There were also accompanying words with the post, which said the following: "IT IS ACCOMPLISHED! First draft of Clerks III is 137 pages. Plays like the The Empire Strikes Back of the Clerks trilogy."
