Warner Bros. to Reboot DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS Feature

By AMC May 9, 2013

Dungeons and Dragons. Such an old school, iconic game that remains a classic to many. Despite the failed 1983 animated TV Series as well as the 2000 film version, Warner Bros. is attempting to reboot the film again. David Johnson ("Wrath of the Titans") is penning the script, based on the game originated by E. Gary Gygax and David Arneson. Some of Johnson's other writing credits include "Red Hiding Hood" and "Orphan".

Roy Lee is producing with Alan Zenman acting as executive producer. Courtney Solomon is also on as producer, who directed the original 2000 feature film.

Development has been happening for a while on the project, based off the original Johnson script that they are now re-working. That script was centered around another game created by Gygax called "Chainmail".

There's no word on the story details or the director yet, but we'll keep you posted as the story develops.
