There's been some updates to our scheduled trip in the hot tub, my friends. Chevy Chase is confirmed to return to his role as the mysterious hot tub repairman in "Hot Tub Time Machine 2". He will be joining a cast that includes the originals sans John Cusack, including Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, and the new addition of Adam Scott.

Steve Pink is returning to helm the sequel and there's no news at this time on what the plot will entail. Will the boys travel back to the 80s again or another decade, or maybe even the future? Only time will tell how this one will unfold, but it's sure to be quirky and hilarious at that.

It's also been reported that Gillian Jacobs has officially signed on as the female lead. We aren't sure what specific role Jacobs will have in the film but her comedic timing on "Community" makes her seem like a good fit.

There's no word on production or a release date yet, but we'll keep you posted as the story develops.

Are you looking forward to the sequel? Let us know in the comments section below!

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
