James Gandolfini Tragically Passes Away at 51

It's never easy to hear about talented and good people passing. It illuminates yet again how precious life is and how we must live each day to the fullest. Such is the case with the news that hit yesterday, that actor James Gandolfini has passed away from a heart-attack at the young age of 51.

Gandolfini enchanted audiences throughout the years with his charisma and charm. He became a household and beloved face when he portrayed Tony Soprano on the hit television series for almost a decade. In his film work, he also commanded such a presence, as seen in such films as "The Mexican" and more recently "Zero Dark Thirty" and "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone".

His talent was undeniable and even though most of us didn't have the privilege of knowing him personally, you could just tell without a doubt that he was a great and humble guy, with a heart of gold. The world has lost yet another shining star in the galaxy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
