Universal Breathes Life into DUMB AND DUMBER TO

We've heard news of a sequel to the Farrelly Brothers amazing "Dumb and Dumber" happening for some time now. Then production was then killed by Warner Bros., and they decided to pass on it altogether. The project was then put out on the market to hopefully be scooped up by another distributor, and now it looks like it may have just found a new home at Universal Pictures.

The Farrelly Brothers turned to Twitter to announce, "IT"S OFFICIAL: Dumb and Dumber To is going into production with @RedGranitePics and @UniversalPics!!! #DumbTo".

Great news indeed. Both Daniel and Carrey have naturally moved on to other interesting films, but dare I say neither of them has every shined brighter than they did in "Dumb and Dumber". Their chemistry together illuminated every hilarious joke that graced our hungry tummies and having the two team-up again, this many years later, seems like a no-brainer great idea.

I can't wait to see what the writers scheme up for their adventures this time around. We'll keep you posted as the story develops.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
