WARCRAFT Movie Still Moving Forward

By AMC June 5, 2013

After years of hearing about a "World of Warcraft" movie, the last few updates we've heard have all been positive. We have yet another good update, making it seem like a film might actually happen.

Word on the street is that the film will start shooing early next year. Atlas Entertainment producer Charles Roven recently stated, "We're moving forward; obviously Legendary is making that film and I'm having a great time with Duncan. First quarter 2014 we're going to shoot that movie."

Well, there you have it. I like to assume that they wouldn't keep yanking our chain and telling us they are on track, if there were some serious red flags behind the scenes. Whenever a film is being adapted from a book or video game, there are a lot of players involved from both sides, so the timeframe isn't alarming to me either.

Duncan Jones is of course helming the picture, instilling a great amount of faith in me personally. Jones captivated audiences with his two sci-fi projects "Moon", starring the sensational Sam Rockwell, and "Source Code".

Do you think a "WOW" is actually going to happen? Let us know in the comments section below!
