The battle of wits between Disney/Marvel and Fox pertaining to a character they will both be utilizing, has been an interesting ride indeed. Of course the said character is Quicksilver, which will be present in both Joss Whedon's "Avengers 2" and Bryan Singer's "X-Men Days of Future Past". At this time, Quicksilver is being utilized in both properties but it is believed that his twin sister Scarlet Witch, will only be introduced in "Avengers 2". Whedon recently discussed just how large their involvement will be in his upcoming sequel.

"[They're] a huge part of [Marvel's The Avengers 2]," said Whedon. "I'm really excited about it. I don't know what they're doing and I'm determinably not knowing. They'll do their thing. I have to do mine."

The siblings were children of the famous X-Men villain Magneto, who were eventually recruited on the Avengers when they no longer dabbled with evil. The fun part for both studios is that Fox can make no mention of them becoming members of the Avengers and Marvel/Disney can make no mention of them being associated with mutants. Fox definitely has the better part of the deal.

"Avengers 2" will hit AMC Theatres on May 1st, 2015.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" will release on July 18th, 2014.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
