Director Marc Webb is going to be busy with "Spider-Man" for an eternity. Well, at least until 2018. With the success of his first film "The Amazing Spider-Man", and his sequel currently in production, Sony announced last month that "The Amazing Spider-Man 3" will be released in 2016 and "The Amazing Spider-Man 4 " will debut in 2018. So what goodies does Webb have in store of us? The introduction of some new heroes as well as some new badass, villains.

Last week at Comic Con, Webb teased the prospect of introducing the super-villain group Sinister Six in his third film. In an interview, Webb said, "What about The Gentleman? Think about the Gentleman. I'm just saying. Put that in your...There's your little tidbit. Think about The Gentleman. I'm just saying, think about The Gentleman."

With more villains, it would only make sense to introduce some more heroes to help Spidey on his pursuit. "Well, I think this was conceived of as a trilogy so there was a defined architecture to the story we were telling and we had sort of a rough outline of what was going to happen," said Webb. "I think [for] the fourth movie, what we've discovered is there are so many ancillary characters, that have enormous, cinematic potential that there may be other ways to exploit those characters, in a way that is exciting and fun and worthwhile. It might not just be a Spider-Man movie."

With WB's big reveal of Batman appearing in "Man of Steel 2" alongside Supes and Kevin Feige and Joss Whedon announcing their "Avengers" sequel will introduce Ultron, Sony is definitely doing their best to keep up.

I see one that's great enough to stand on his own in a flick and I see two generic Super Heroes below him played by descent actors that will suck of no fault of their own. DC Entertainment and Zack piss off Snyder have destroyed any chance of a good Superman flick. It's generic and badly delivered to screen. What a tragedy to finally get to see the big 3 on screen after all these years only to watch them in piss poor dark generic looking outfits and rewritten backgrounds. FAILURE! DC Entertainment needs to pull their heads out of their asses and give us something good besides Dark Knight and Batman. To my point GO MARVEL!!!!!! May we all be laughing at DC Comics in the end for playing this awful prank on the true fans.

Marvel has nothing to worry about. DC Entertainment has already killed Superman in this so called "Man of Steel" series of movies. Does anyone recall how the first one sucked? That movie in no way other then title had the tone of Superman. DC has shot themselves in the foot far before the release date against Marvel that knows how to build on charactors, respect them, and the fans. Before all this bull crap with revamping I was 100% behind DC Comics. They have proved one bad film over another that Batman is the only one in the JLA they can get right. This knockoff Superman is and was terrible! Wonder Woman will be just as bad or worse being that DC Comics likes to screw around with her origin and costume the most out of any DC charactor since creation. They simply just don't know what the heck they are doing or how to stay true to the roots of these heroes who have endured for 70 plus years. MOS2 may make it at the box office but mark my words it will not in any way be because it's a great flick. Just the hopefuls having to justify to themselves right and wrongs of the contents. It will suck! Line up for Captain America 3 and catch this flick in the red box.
