Well my friends, we survived yet another San Diego Comic Con and we have some amazing goodies to share with you! It was a jam-packed week of big reveals, commentary from some of our favorite celebrities and directors, and some exciting details about upcoming projects. Take a journey with us through our Top 5 Highlights of SDCC '13!

Starting with #5:

#5: Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo Chat "Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier":

This first point is personal to me, but it was just too damn good not to share with you lovely readers! Anthony Mackie, who plays Sam Wilson/The Falcon, and Frank Grillo, who plays Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, were the most animated interview for us of all Comic Con. Some of the highlights include Mackie saying that his Falcon could take on Iron Man, whipping out his AMC Movie Card and looking into the camera asking for a new one, then dropping the microphone and saying "Falcon out". Wow, way to keep it interesting gents. Can't wait to see your Marvel big-screen debut.

#4: Tom Hiddleston Threatens Hall H Audience as Loki:

At the Marvel panel, Tom Hiddleston who plays Thor's evil half-brother Loki in the Marvel Universe, surprised audiences by coming out in full character. He informed us that he is "burdened with glorious purpose" and asks us "Where are your avengers now?". He then demanded us to "Say my Name!" as the audience howled "Loki" at the top of their lungs. It was truly an incredible stunt, as orchestrated by the masterful godfather of the Marvel Universe, Kevin Feige.

#3: Entire Cast of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" Surprises Fans:

As if Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender being in attendance weren't enough to please fans, all the principles of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" made an appearance first at "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" press conference and then Hall H. Attendees included Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McEvoy, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Hugh Jackman and several others. Quite the impressive panel indeed. The film is currently filming in Montreal. We're excited to see what you have planned, Bryan Singer!

#2: "The Avengers: Age of Ultron":

Joss Whedon and Kevin Feige revealed in Hall H at their Marvel panel that the "Avengers 2" title will be "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" with a May 2, 2015 release date. Ultron and his Sentinels should prove to be quite the worthy opponents for the Avengers indeed. Whedon later let us know that Henry Pym (a.k.a Ant-Man) will not be present in his film. Pym of course was responsible for creating Ultron, so speculation leads us to believe that they will change the storyline to make Tony Stark/Iron Man the creator. Either way, we couldn't be more excited for Whedon's second installment to follow his incredible original.

#1: "Superman and Batman" Movie:

Without a doubt, the biggest reveal at Comic Con was finding out that the two biggest superheroes of all-time are going to be sharing the screen together. Batman and Superman in the same movie? Yes please! Director Zack Snyder brought up Actor Harry Lennix to the D.C. panel and lead the audience in this dramatic reading of a famous line from "The Dark Knight Returns":

"I want you to remember, Clark. In all the years to come. In all your most private moments. I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you."

The crowd went wild and of course the next big question is, who will take over as the caped crusader now that Christian Bale is done? D.C. certainly has their work cut out for them but this is a HUGE step in the right direction.

It was a great weekend and we at AMC covered as much of the excitement as we could for you! Be sure to keep checking our blog as well as our AMC Theatres YouTube channel for our Comic Con interviews and coverage!

I see one that's great enough to stand on his own in a flick and I see two generic Super Heroes below him played by descent actors that will suck of no fault of their own. DC Entertainment and Zack piss off Snyder have destroyed any chance of a good Superman flick. It's generic and badly delivered to screen. What a tragedy to finally get to see the big 3 on screen after all these years only to watch them in piss poor dark generic looking outfits and rewritten backgrounds. FAILURE! DC Entertainment needs to pull their heads out of their asses and give us something good besides Dark Knight and Batman. To my point GO MARVEL!!!!!! May we all be laughing at DC Comics in the end for playing this awful prank on the true fans.

Marvel has nothing to worry about. DC Entertainment has already killed Superman in this so called "Man of Steel" series of movies. Does anyone recall how the first one sucked? That movie in no way other then title had the tone of Superman. DC has shot themselves in the foot far before the release date against Marvel that knows how to build on charactors, respect them, and the fans. Before all this bull crap with revamping I was 100% behind DC Comics. They have proved one bad film over another that Batman is the only one in the JLA they can get right. This knockoff Superman is and was terrible! Wonder Woman will be just as bad or worse being that DC Comics likes to screw around with her origin and costume the most out of any DC charactor since creation. They simply just don't know what the heck they are doing or how to stay true to the roots of these heroes who have endured for 70 plus years. MOS2 may make it at the box office but mark my words it will not in any way be because it's a great flick. Just the hopefuls having to justify to themselves right and wrongs of the contents. It will suck! Line up for Captain America 3 and catch this flick in the red box.
