Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore have teamed up again for a new romantic comedy. Formerly titled "Blended", the film has now been renamed "The Familymoon". The two previously worked together on "The Wedding Singer" in 1998 and "50 First Dates" in 2004.
The film centers on a couple who are on a horrible blind date, which takes them to a family resort with the children from their former marriages. Joel McHale plays Barrymore's ex-husband and Wendi McLendon-Covey has just joined the cast as her best friend. McLendon-Covey was hilarious in "Bridesmaids" and I'm sure she will add her fantastic comedic timing and charm to this picture as well.
Frank Coraci is directing the film, working from a script written by Ivan Menchell, Clare Sera, Rodney Rothman.
