Gina Carano Talks WONDER WOMAN

We've been talking about why a "Wonder Woman" film hasn't come to fruition yet for months now. I mean when you seriously break it down, it's rather amusing. Marvel/Disney is bringing a talking raccoon and tree to the big-screen before Warner Bros./D.C. brings one of the strongest and most well-known female superheroes.

With their recent "Man of Steel" success and the big reveal that a new Batman will appear in the sequel, fans wonder; could we be seeing our beloved Diana Prince anytime soon, perhaps with a "Justice League" ensemble around her?

Many names have been tossed in the mix to play the famed vixen and one consistent has always been MMA fighter-turned-actress, Gina Carano. She's got the body, the beauty and the charm, but does she have the necessary acting chops?

In a recent interview pertaining to the character, Carano said the following, "That’s the ultimate superhero for a woman. No matter what, no matter who ends up being Wonder Woman someday, I just hope it’s something that is done correctly. I know it’s there and that it could definitely be done correctly. It’s just a matter of getting the right people and having the right vision come together. A director and producer and writer have to see the beauty in it and make it real."

Clearly she has love for the character and hopes they do it right, but does that make her the right fit for the job? Only time will tell but any movement, is good movement, if you ask me.

Do you think Carano should be Wonder Woman? Let us know in the comments section below!

I've got a Baby Ruth in my coat pocket somewhere... just waiting to eat it. Maybe I'll put in a blender on puree.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
