Is There Hope for a PACIFIC RIM 2?

While the general consensus of people that saw Guillermo del Toro's "Pacific Rim" felt that it was a fun time at the movies, unfortunately the box office results were still a bit lackluster. That is to say domestically anyway, as the film only made $39 million on its opening weekend on a $200 million budget. Overseas however, some new box office records were set, breathing new life and hope into the film's future.

China is the largest market internationally that filmmakers generally take into consideration when gauging successfully openings overseas. The film racked up $9 million on its first day, making it 23% higher than any "Harry Potter" film.

With this news, it's being reported that Warner Bros. is now seriously considering a sequel. With all the remakes and reboots these days, another del Toro original would be just fine by me.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.

Magic and "The Social Network" shouldn't be in the same sentence. It was an awful movie for what has become "The Hateful Network". It's the beginning of the end for FB.
