Mark Strong as Lex Luthor in MAN OF STEEL Sequel?

We all know we're going to be talking about who should be the next Batman, until Warner Bros. finally makes the announcement for who their caped crusader will be in the "Man of Steel" sequel. But what about Superman's arch-nemesis Lex Luthor? Reports hit that British actor Mark Strong is in consideration for the role.

When asked directly about this prospect, Strong stated, "All I can say is…watch this space." A fairly cryptic message indeed.

Strong is an incredible actor and we've seen him really embrace the villain roles with ease, as seen in Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes" and Matthew Vaughn's "Kick-Ass". I think he would make a fantastic Lex Luthor.

Another great name that has been tossed in the mix is Bryan Cranston. For anyone that has seen "Breaking Bad", you definitely know this guy can go dark. The arc of his character Walter White is one of the best and most complex character ever written, in my humble opinion. He would undoubtedly bring a lot of talent and depth to the role.

Other names I personally have been marinating on for the wonderful role, include Michael Fassbender and Timothy Olympant. They too have shown their dark and mischievous sides, as well as their range.

I've got a Baby Ruth in my coat pocket somewhere... just waiting to eat it. Maybe I'll put in a blender on puree.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
