Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass in Talks to Return to BOURNE Franchise?

The "Bourne" films further solidified Matt Damon as an action star with range. It also further cemented the amazing partnership that he shared with director Paul Greengrass on the last two films of the franchise. The spin-off film "The Bourne Legacy" starring Jeremy Renner, was met with mixed reviews, which was in no way the fault of Renner as he is always solid. But would a crossover film with both actors' characters do the trick? I think yes.

Damon has been asked in countless interviews if he would ever return to the franchise. His answer is always the same; not without Paul Greengrass at the helm. Now it's been reported that we may see a crossover film in that not too distant future and that the two gents are in negotiations with Universal to make it happen. Please take note that this statement has not been confirmed by the studio at this point, so it's possible it's mere speculation and perhaps just hope.

Damon has also previously stated that now that his character Jason Bourne is aware of his identity, he thinks it would be "a real struggle to extend the franchise". Even if his character and Renner's Aaron Cross had one scene together, I think the mere tip of the hat would be enough to please fans, but maybe that's just me.

Regardless, a fifth Bourne film is on the way with Renner still attached to star. We'll see how this situation unfolds but here's to hoping Damon and potentially Greengrass are also locked as well, in one capacity or another.

I see one that's great enough to stand on his own in a flick and I see two generic Super Heroes below him played by descent actors that will suck of no fault of their own. DC Entertainment and Zack piss off Snyder have destroyed any chance of a good Superman flick. It's generic and badly delivered to screen. What a tragedy to finally get to see the big 3 on screen after all these years only to watch them in piss poor dark generic looking outfits and rewritten backgrounds. FAILURE! DC Entertainment needs to pull their heads out of their asses and give us something good besides Dark Knight and Batman. To my point GO MARVEL!!!!!! May we all be laughing at DC Comics in the end for playing this awful prank on the true fans.

Marvel has nothing to worry about. DC Entertainment has already killed Superman in this so called "Man of Steel" series of movies. Does anyone recall how the first one sucked? That movie in no way other then title had the tone of Superman. DC has shot themselves in the foot far before the release date against Marvel that knows how to build on charactors, respect them, and the fans. Before all this bull crap with revamping I was 100% behind DC Comics. They have proved one bad film over another that Batman is the only one in the JLA they can get right. This knockoff Superman is and was terrible! Wonder Woman will be just as bad or worse being that DC Comics likes to screw around with her origin and costume the most out of any DC charactor since creation. They simply just don't know what the heck they are doing or how to stay true to the roots of these heroes who have endured for 70 plus years. MOS2 may make it at the box office but mark my words it will not in any way be because it's a great flick. Just the hopefuls having to justify to themselves right and wrongs of the contents. It will suck! Line up for Captain America 3 and catch this flick in the red box.

I've got a Baby Ruth in my coat pocket somewhere... just waiting to eat it. Maybe I'll put in a blender on puree.
