Jason Blum and Blumhouse productions have a large repertoire of some great horror films under their belt, and that doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. It was announced yesterday after the big success of "Insidious Chapter 2", which racked up $41 million on a $5 million budget, that they will be producing a third film in the franchise. Now word hits today of another horror project they have planned, with Aaron Eckhart starring.
The film is titled "Incarnate" and Brad Peyton ("Journey 2: The Mysterious Island") is locked in to direct. The story follows "an unconventional exorcist who can tap into the subconscious of the possessed who meets his match when a 9-year-old boy is possessed by a demon from his past."
Eckhart will next be seen in "I, Frankenstein", and is known for his work on such films as "Olympus Has Fallen", "The Dark Knight" and "Thank You For Smoking". He is incredibly talented and charismatic, and it will be very interesting to see him try his hand at the art of the scare.
