Edgar Wright's ANT-MAN Shifts From November to July 2015 Release Date

Have I mentioned lately how amazing 2015 is going to be for film fans? Edgar Wright's last comic-book film adventure was "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World", which was met with surprised and very positive reviews. His next Marvel project is "Ant-Man", which has been kept pretty under wraps. News just hit today that the film is now moving from its November 6th, 2015 release date to the heat of Summer on July 31st.

What does this mean exactly? A few things perhaps, the first being that Marvel/Disney most likely has a lot of faith in Wright's vision for the property. Joss Whedon's highly anticipated "Avengers" sequel will hit theaters on May 1st, 2015, landing Wright's film just 3 months after its big release. The "Man of Steel" sequel will hit theaters on July 17th, 2015, a mere two weeks before Wright's film. A film that has as much excitement around it as Zack Snyder's sequel, definitely makes you wonder if it could hold the #1 spot three weeks in a row, pushing "Ant-Man" to one of the 2nd tiers.

With this revised timeline, I'm hoping we find out some details about "Ant-Man" sooner than later. Namely, who is going to play Hank Pym? I'm still hoping for Nathan Fillion but maybe that's just me

"Ant-Man" will hit AMC Theatres on July 31st, 2015.

I've got a Baby Ruth in my coat pocket somewhere... just waiting to eat it. Maybe I'll put in a blender on puree.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
