On September 27, the new IMAX 3D concert film METALLICA: THROUGH THE NEVER hits AMCs everywhere and today we have an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip that shows you what it takes to put on a show this massive. Specifically, how they went about creating a huge Lady Justice statue that literally collapses in pieces during their show.

Take a look!

And here's the synopsis of the film, which explains more about the type of experience you'll be getting on September 27!

Starring Metallica, a cast of thousands of their fans and breakout star Dane DeHaan (Chronicle, The Amazing Spider-Man 2), Metallica Through the Never is written and directed by awardwinning filmmaker NimrAd Antal (Predators, Kontroll) and produced by former IMAX film producer Charlotte Huggins (Journey to the Center of the Earth). The film marries groundbreaking footage and editing techniques with a compelling narrative, in which a band crew member (played by DeHaan) is sent out on a mission during Metallica's roaring live set in front of a sold-out arena. While on this mission, he unexpectedly has his life turned completely upside down.

We can't wait! Make sure to click here to find tickets for METALLICA: THROUGH THE NEVER in IMAX 3D at an AMC near you!

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
