The "Fast and Furious" franchise is not going anywhere anytime soon. Earlier this week, we reported that Lucas Black from "Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift" was returning to the franchise to join Toretto (Vin Diesel ) and his crew. Now Diesel shares a new photo from on set, which looks like it could be from a funeral, and shares another little tidbit about his experience on this one.

Diesel stated, "The first week of filming, has been both intense and surreal…P.s. One from set… a more somber moment in Our Saga..".

Leading the charge and taking the reigns from Justin Lin is director James Wan, known as one of the best horror movie filmmakers of our generation. In addition to the franchise regulars and Black returning, Jason Statham, Tony Jaa, and Djimon Hounsou are joining the cast.

Are you excited for the film? Let us know in the comments section below!

"Fast and Furious 7" will open in AMC Theatres on July 11th, 2014.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
