Were you getting sad there for a minute with no new "Thor: The Dark World" character posters? Well fear not my friends, we have two new ones just for your viewing pleasure! The first one is off Thor's tough papa Odin, played by Sir Anthony Hopkins, looking tough and authoritative. The second is of everyone's favorite villain Loki, brought to life by the wonderful Tom Hiddleston. He has the mischievous pose and smirk as always, that his fans have come to know and love him for.

The sequel will reunite us with Loki, Odin, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), as well as many other familiar and new faces. This second installment is helmed by HBO's "Game of Thrones" director Alan Taylor. Sir Kenneth Branagh did a fantastic job at bringing the first film to life but given Taylor's experience with rich and complex worlds, we have the upmost confidence that he will bring us another amazing film.

Do you like the new character posters? Let us know in the comments section below!

"Thor: The Dark World" will hit AMC Theatres on November 11th.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
