Duncan Jones has captivated audiences with his sci-fi adventures as seen in the incredible "Moon" starring Sam Rockwell, and "Source Code" starring Jake Gyllenhaal. His pending project has been an adaptation of the successful video game franchise "World of Warcraft". It was on hold for a long time, with little tidbits from gaming publishers confirming it was still on the way. Now with the latest casting news, the film does appear to be actually happening.
Colin Farrell ("Total Recall") has reportedly been offered a leading role and Paula Patton ("Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol") is said to be in negotiations for a leading role. It is unknown at this time what characters these two would play.
Legendary Pictures and Atlas Entertainment are producing and shooting is scheduled to begin in January. I would imagine we will be hearing about confirmed casting updates soon, given that rapidly approaching production timeline.
