The comedy "Horrible Bosses" was a pleasant surprise, packing in lots of laughs and a quirky edge, that is not felt in many comedies today. The chemistry between stars Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day was fantastic, and we were all pleased to learn that a sequel was in the works.
The main three stars as well as Jamie Foxx were all scheduled to return, as well as director Seth Gordon. Last month Gordon unfortunately departed the picture, but now the mystery of who will direct the next installment has been solved.
Sean Anders, known for his writing credits on "We're the Millers", which also starred two "Horrible Bosses" stars Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis, has stepped up to the director's chair. John Morris, his co-writer on "Millers", has signed on as exeutive producer. The duo recently took a stab at rewriting the script, which was originally penned by the scribes of the first film, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.
Anders previously helmed "Sex Drive" and "That's My Boy", which starred Adam Sandler. Coming off the recent success of "Millers", which has received critical acclaim as well as performed very strongly at the box office, definitely instills more faith in this duo for this next project.
