Marvel/Disney has really set the bar for end-credits scenes, teasing other components of the shared universe and often just utilizing funny little clips that tie back int other film that was just viewed. They've also become masters at gaining traction for their 3D showings by enticing their audiences with other goodies, such as the news that just hit today.

Audience members who check out "Thor: The Dark World" on Novemeber 8 in a 3D screening, will get a special 5 minute clip of "Captain America: The Winter Solider", which will hit AMC Theatres on April 4, 2014. We've already seen a bunch of cool new posters and a great poster for that film, keeping interest high. This move could certainly not help continue to build interest.

Here's the official press release details:

Audiences will get an extended, roughly five-minute look at Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier in 3D when they grab a ticket to Alan Taylor’s Thor sequel. This special engagement, according to the studio, will be available exclusively at 3D screenings of the newest Marvel film throughout its theatrical run.

"After Marvel’s The Avengers, the Marvel films are more interwoven than ever, and this pairing is the perfect complement to both of the new movies," said Dave Hollis, executive vice president, theatrical distribution, at Walt Disney Studios. "Thor: The Dark World is going to be an exceptional theatergoing experience, and this sneak peek will really rev fans up for the return of not only the Mighty Avenger but the First Avenger as well."
