Jamie Dornan to Replace Charlie Hunnam as Christian Grey in 50 SHADES

A new Christian Grey has been chosen. "Once Upon a Time" star Jamie Dornan is the new master to Dakota Johnson, who is still locked to play Anastasia Steele in Sam Taylor-Johnson's "50 Shades of Grey".

Dornan is of course replacing "Pacific Rim" star Charlie Hunnam after the dramatic turn of events which led to his departure from the production.

Dornan was allegedly among a list of other actors being considered for the role including Alexander Skarsgard ("True Blood"), Theo James ("Divergent"), Christian Cooke (U.K's "Where the Heart Is") and Scott Eastwood ("Chicago Fire").

Hunnam was set to make a "mere" $125,000 for the role, which isn't a lot considering how successful of a book series it's been. It is a bit of a risky production however that is guaranteed a lot of eyeballs, so it will be interesting to see what kind of paycheck Dornan is able to lock, since Hunnam is undoubtedly a bigger name.

Based on the hit book series from E.L. James, the books have been coined "mommy porn" and are loosely based on the characters of "Twilight". The plot and characters are definitely thin and there are some very graphic and sexual scenes, so it will be interesting to see how Universal and Focus Features handle it. The big-screen adaptation should be NC-17 but at the very least, they better make it R, otherwise their desire to tone it down and dilute it to expand the reach, would outrage a lot of the fans.

Do you think Dornan will make a good Christian Grey? Let us know in the comments section below!

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
