Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paul Rudd Top Choices for Edgar Wright's ANT-MAN?

We weren't sure if Edgar Wright's "Ant-Man" would actually come to fruition since we've been hearing about the project for so many years now. But since the release of Wright's latest "The World's End", and the release date of "Ant-Man" being pushed up to July 31, 2015, he now seems to be focusing his efforts on the superhero of smaller proportions.

Following the teasing of a photo of the alleged Ant-Man on set, courtesy of Wright, we now apparently have the names of our two front-runners; Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paul Rudd.

Gordon-Levitt is a popular name to throw in the mix for, let's be honest, almost any role. He is clearly a fan-favorite and has shown he can tackle any subject matter, ranging from comedy to action. But he has already played an important role in Christopher Nolan's incredible Batman franchise in "The Dark Knight Rises". He has also proven he can step behind the lens with his directorial debut "Don Jon". Can the man do no wrong?

Now Rudd is a much less conventional choice on the other hand. When I first heard his name, my initial instinct was definitely no. But the more I think about it, the more I'm ok with it. Sure, he's mostly known for his comedy, which is surely something Wright will be embracing. But the guy can act in dramatic parts as well and just may have a certain level of kookiness that would make a good mad scientist.

Out of these two actors, who would you rather see play Ant-Man? Let us know in the comments section below!

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
