Simon Kinberg Hired to Re-Write Josh Trank's FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot

By AMC October 2, 2013

We've all been looking forward to seeing Josh Trank's take on the "Fantastic Four" characters we all know and love so much, but apparently there has been some trouble in paradise. Fanboy favorite Simon Kinberg has now been hired to give the script a re-write.

Before Kinberg was on the case, many other hands have given it a try. Such writers include Jeremy Slater, Michael Green, Seth Grahame-Smith and T.S. Nowlin. Will Kinberg have that magic element that has been missing?

Trank of course captivated audiences with his "Chronicle", which starred the wonderful Dane DeHaan and Michael B. Jordan. I personally think he'll do a fantastic job with this property as well, as soon as they get one of the most important elements intact.

Matthew Vaughn ("X-Men: First Class") is still on as a producer and now Kinberg has stepped up to produce alongside him, in addition to the script re-write.

Do you think they'll still hit their release date? Let us know in the comments section below!

"Fantastic Four" is slated to release in AMC Theatres on March 6th 2015.
