You may not even know there is a new "Mad Max" film coming out because it's been an incredibly silent production. The reboot stars Tom Hardy instead of Mel Gibson in the title character.
It was reported a couple of months ago that Hardy was going back for reshoots, but now he has revealed that they were in fact not reshoots but perhaps something else.
In a recent interview, Hardy stated, "(Mad Max)'s great. It's a big old piece, it's a behemoth of a piece. I'm off there next week to do some reshoots, well not reshoots actually, but doing more. We're building, building more Mad Maxes, even more spectacular and cool stuff."
George Miller, the original series creator, directed the film which has no release date currently. The film also boasts the talent of Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz.
