Critics and audiences alike were captivated by the surprise hit "Chronicle", which served as a platform to further launch the careers of director Josh Trank, writer Max Landis and stars Dane DeHaan and Michael B. Jordan. It then came as no surprise that a "Chronicle 2" was in the works, but as development continued, the cast of players changed and both Trank and Landis were no longer attached to the project.

Before his departure, Landis had already mapped out where he wanted the story to go next. In a recent interview, he revealed that the next adventure would have shed some light on exactly what the source was that gave Matt (Alex Russell), Steve (Michael B. Jordan) and Andrew (Dane DeHaan) their superpowers.

Known as Massive Organic Geoelectric Objects (Mogo), Landis said the following, "(They are) a race of crystalline organisms that communicate and propel themselves through radio waves, and turn higher life forms into telekinetic drones."

He also explained how the sequel script and direction, which was rejected by Fox, was going to be much darker and would follow, "Two embittered souls as antiheroes trying to catch the survivor of the first film."

I've got a Baby Ruth in my coat pocket somewhere... just waiting to eat it. Maybe I'll put in a blender on puree.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
