BOURNE 5 Locks August 2015 Release Date

The year 2015 is certainly going to be a jam-packed one for film and for big ones at that. Other than "Star Wars: Episode VII", "Jurassic World" and "Mission Impossible 5", the fifth "Bourne" film in the franchise is now getting in on the action. Slated for an August 2015 release date, Jeremy Renner is returning to star.

The last film "The Bourne Legacy" was the first film to star Renner as Aaron Cross instead of Matt Damon as the signature Jason Bourne character. The film was met with mixed reviews and grossed 50% less than the previous film, but the franchise still has a pretty solid built-in audience, so it's not very surprising that they're producing another one.

Instead of Paul Greengrass at the helm, who helped make the Damon films so popular, or Tony Gilroy who directed the last one, "Fast and Furious" helmer Justin Lin is stepping up to the plate for this one. This seems like a very strategic and smart move for Lin, who recently departed the car-racing franchise, giving James Wan a try at it.

Do you think this is a good release date for the film? Let us know in the comments section below!

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.

Magic and "The Social Network" shouldn't be in the same sentence. It was an awful movie for what has become "The Hateful Network". It's the beginning of the end for FB.
