The wait for the big-screen debut of our iconic Wonder Woman is over. Israeli beauty Gal Gadot has been officially cast as Diana Prince in Zack Snyder's "Batman Vs. Superman".

Best known for appearing in the last two "Fast and Furious" films, Gadot will be starring alongside Ben Affleck as the new Batman and Henry Cavill as the returning Superman.

On the announcement, Snyder stated, "Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character."

Will Gadot be able to bulk up enough to play the iconic Amazonian Princess? Does she have the acting chops needed to hold her own and perhaps carry her own film down the line? She certainly has the beauty so only time will tell how it unfolds.

  • Matthew Kirk posted on First GODZILLA Trailer Released Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Bryan Cranston

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
