Colin Trevorrow Says JURASSIC WORLD Is A Sequel Not A Reboot

By Amirose Eisenbach December 3, 2013

Everything seems to be on course for Colin Trevorrow's new Dino installment "Jurassic World". While we haven't heard too many details about the production yet, just a few minor teases, we did finally find out more of a timeline.

The film is not a reboot but a straight sequel, as we just learned straight from the horse's mouth. Trevorrow stated, "Reboot is a strong word. This is a new sci-fi terror adventure set 22 years after the horrific events of Jurassic Park".

Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are locked in to star and Chris Pratt may soon be locked in as the other lead shortly as well. His comedic timing and charm may help him become the new Jeff Goldblum of the franchise.

Personally, he had me at "sci-fi terror adventure". Give me Dinos back on the big-screen with Trevorrow's cool style and I'm a happy camper.
