12 YEARS A SLAVE and AMERICAN HUSTLE Lead the Charge for 2014 Golden Globe Nominations

The 2014 Golden Globe Awards are right around the corner and this morning the list of nominees were revealed. Aziz Ansari, Zoe Saldana and Olivia Wilde read off the 25 film and TV categories and this year, Steve McQueen's "12 Years A Slave" and David O. Russell's "American Hustle" lead the charge with the most nominations.

A couple of surprises here and there, especially considering the genre categories the awards are broken out into. But overall all the films you expected to see as well as the strong performances, were all included in one capacity or another.

It's been an incredibly strong year for cinema and while many feel the Golden Globes don't mean a whole lot, it is still drawing attention to the powerful and impactful world of film. Check out the full list of nominees below:
